missing the point. A small company can make a low budget crappy game on 360, and it will cost them little time or money. It then needs to sell fewer copies to become profitable, plus 360 has a larger install base that actually buys games.
However with PS3 you can't make a game quickly and cheaply. This is why we see so many budget titles skipping the PS3 all together this generation. Development for the PS3 is more risky.

All death means for the PS3 is that it will never catch Wii and 360 in sales, it will continue to NOT be the lead platform for most 3rd party games, and it will continue to not get low budget games that will be on Wii and 360 or 360 and PC only.

I just got my 360 not too long ago, I gotta say I was surprised. I am a long time Playstation fan, but the 360 is probably going to be my new console of choice. I already have a group of pals that I meet up with online every Friday night, the console has literally changed my life.
I think this is the way the future will look for many people, weekly gaming get togethers via cyberspace.
get my PS3, it will not be because it won or lost the console war, so who cares really, long as it has the exclusives I cant get on 360, Im cool, after all I have both consoles. ;)

MS hardware is actually extremely reliable, xbox was outstanding, their mouse keyboard and game controllers have always been of solid quality.

It's true, any 360 manufactured at or after Feb of 08 will be RROD free.
I work at Best Buy and since then the units have been of outstanding quality as far as RROD.
Anyone waiting around for Jasper, should be aware that it is NOT necessary.

this is not going to stop me from picking this game up as soon as I get my PS3, all the hype has certainly worked on me, I've got to try LBP out.
to say they lied about RROD is a litte misleading in itself.
They spoke too soon about the seriousness of the RROD in an effort to do damage control, something most companies including Sony would have done.
Once they saw how serious the issue was they not only admitted to it, but they extended the warranty. If they wanted to lie they would not have stopped, they would still be lying and claiming the RROD is not a real issue, like Sony did with defective PS2s.
